What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Operations - Full-Service Hotels - Concord Hospitality Enterprises, Raleigh, North Carolina position at Concord Hospitality Brand?
Summary:
Responsible for the management of multiple full-service hotel operations and for directly overseeing the General Managers at these properties. There will be a heavy focus on continuous improvement of operational and service standards as outlined by both Concord Hospitality and our brand affiliates, in addition to new General Manager mentoring.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and direct a team of General Managers in our full-service portfolio, ensuring quality and consistency in process and policy across the portfolio. Mentor new full-service GMs as they are hired.
• Develop General Managers to maximize their potential, so they are prepared for future promotional opportunities.
• Drive Concord culture throughout the portfolio in daily operations.
• Maintain a good understanding of financials, GSS and associate satisfaction within the hotels, identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist teams in implementing corrective action plans as needed.
• Make sure long-range plans are in place and are implemented. Make adjustments to any plans as needed.
• Investigate problems and work in collaboration with General Managers to identify and implement strong solutions.
• Ensure strong associate relations program is in place at all properties in the portfolio.
• Directs the preparation of any information required by owners or corporate staff.
• Perform regular asset evaluations to ensure daily operations protect owners’ assets.
• Act as a resource to hotel leaders in the identification and implementation of capex plans.• Support and participate in corporate and property sponsored events.
• Meet at minimum on a quarterly basis with hotels, regionals and senior executives within Concord.
