SUMMARY : The primary function of the Corporate Accounting Field Support Manager is to ensure the successful training and support of on-site accounting associates. To act as the single point of contact for the Corporate Accounting Department for on-site accounting associates and future support as needed in a bench / support role. Expectation is 75%-85% travel.
Responsibilities : Ensure a successful transition and opening experience for associates, owners, existing management companies and Concord Hospitality team members. This individual will complete the necessary accounting training and tasks included but not limited to :
Represent Concord Hospitality and all various hotel brands professionally at all times.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Continually focus on upholding all Concord standards, policies and procedures
Attend weekly Accounting Department Meetings.
Assist in gather Accounting labor and travel costs for transition budget
Become familiar and be able to operate multiple property management systems
Assist in the active recruitment of new accounting leadership while on assignment at a particular property, if needed
Understand the Concord Internal Audit process and review Accounting pertinent items with hotel staff
Conduct on-site Accounting training based on current checklist
Ensure Accounting training on-site checklist is updated periodically as needed
Ensure proper training and review of all Accounting COP's
Complete systems training to include PVNG, Document Management Systems, Profitsword, Edenred
Setup of intranet Property Site folders (i.e. EOM, Funds Control)
Train Accounting personnel on completing daily income journal or the setup of daily interface with PMS
Assist in a successful transition to the hotel's Property Controller (on-site or Centralized), and act as a resource when needed
Act as the main point of contact for all on-site Controllers post transition, as needed
While acting as a bench / support role, assume the responsibilities and roles of the vacant Accounting leadership position
- Hospitality accounting experience required
