Staff Accountant

Concord Medical Group is looking for a General Ledger Staff Accountant. This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and is based in our Lubbock, TX office.  We are looking for someone who can handle the following responsibilities:

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all entities.
• Monitor and create Intercompany DueTo/DueFrom entries between 17 companies.
• Create and post JEs for accruals, amortizations, deferrals, and reclassifications monthly.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
• Perform audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
• Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
• Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Qualifications:

• An accounting degree is required (Bachelor)
• Must have 2 years experience of General Ledger Accounting
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, quick thinker who can handle a fast-paced environment and keep financial data up to date with accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with courteous, professional manners, and strong customer service skills.
• Experience working with QuickBooks Enterprise (Desktop) is preferred.
• Experience with account reconciliation is required.
