Primary Care Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity

Schedule & Coverage

Shift Type : Day shifts (hours may vary between 7 AM - 7 PM)

Estimated Shifts : 20 shifts

Estimated Hours : 160 hours per month

Job Description

Setting : Public service outpatient clinic serving homeless and underserved populations

Patient Volume : 10-12 patients per day

Patient Population : Mostly adults (some pediatric and adolescent care)

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : 6 mid-level providers

Supervision : Not required

Emergency Duties : No in-house codes or ED backup (Defibrillator available)

Required Procedures :

Pelvic exams

Pap smears

Employment physicals

Additional Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for children and adults (HIV experience preferred but not required)

Must be willing to train in HIV care and Integrated Behavioral Health (not primary duties but may cover these areas)

Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, PCER, and OSHA regulations

Adhere to clinical protocols and quality assurance standards

Assist in overseeing physician dispensary and medical materials under GA physician s license in the absence of the Medical Director

Requirements

Active GA License & DEA

Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Medical Degree from a State-Approved School

Minimum 5 Years Post-Training Experience

BLS Certification

Local Candidates Only (No additional travel reimbursement beyond mileage)

Bilingual (Spanish) Highly Preferred

Experience Treating Medically Underserved, Immigrant, and Homeless Populations Highly Preferred

Experience Supervising Professional Staff and / or Administrative Experience Highly Preferred

Salary : $120
