Job Overview :

Urgent Care facility in Boiling Springs, SC, is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician to provide temporary coverage while a permanent provider is being hired. This position offers a rotating shift schedule in a fast-paced environment, delivering care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday (8 AM - 8 PM); Saturday & Sunday (8 AM - 5 PM)

  • Week 2 : Wednesday & Thursday (8 AM - 8 PM)
  • Weeks rotate
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days
  • Average Patient Volume : 40-75 per day
  • Number of Exam Rooms : 5
  • Support Staff : 1 mid-level provider per day
  • EMR System : Experity

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients.
  • Perform minor procedures, including :

    • Wound management and repair

  • Incision and drainage of abscesses
  • Foreign body removal
  • Pelvic exams
  • Diagnostic testing
  • Extremity splinting
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality care delivery.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified Physician (Urgent Care specialty preferred)
  • Active South Carolina Medical License
  • BLS and DEA Certification
  • SC Controlled Substance License
  • Clean background check (required for temporary privileges)
  • Local candidates preferred
