Job Overview :

Urgent Care facility in Boiling Springs, SC, is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician to provide temporary coverage while a permanent provider is being hired. This position offers a rotating shift schedule in a fast-paced environment, delivering care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Shifts :

Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday (8 AM - 8 PM); Saturday & Sunday (8 AM - 5 PM)

Week 2 : Wednesday & Thursday (8 AM - 8 PM)

Weeks rotate

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days

Average Patient Volume : 40-75 per day

Number of Exam Rooms : 5

Support Staff : 1 mid-level provider per day

EMR System : Experity

Responsibilities :

Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients.

Perform minor procedures, including :

Wound management and repair

Incision and drainage of abscesses

Foreign body removal

Pelvic exams

Diagnostic testing

Extremity splinting

Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality care delivery.

Requirements :

Board Certified Physician (Urgent Care specialty preferred)

Active South Carolina Medical License

BLS and DEA Certification

SC Controlled Substance License

Clean background check (required for temporary privileges)

Local candidates preferred
