Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as the initial point of contact and shall provide general administrative duties for the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC), to include answering phones, taking messages, assisting customers with faxing approved material, responding to email messages and other virtual inquiries.
-Provide effective, efficient, and immediate transactional service to customers who seek assistance in the M&FRC. Meet and greet customers upon entry to M&FRC.
- Perform administrative tasks to include printing, copying/collating, folding, stapling and envelope addressing/mailing. The Contractor shall assist the M&FRC staff in providing a full range of services to include transition assistance, employment assistance, relocation, financial, family life, special needs family members, voting assistance, volunteer resources, and personal and family readiness to authorized patrons seeking assistance at the M&FRC.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Associate’s degree or at least 3 years of experience in a military/government environment is required.
-One year experience with the Transition Assistance Program or one year experience working in military environment required.
-Basic understanding of military protocol, support group organizations, understanding of family systems in a military setting, and poses the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
- Knowledge of office management and basic administrative tasks
- Proficiency in data entry and using computer programs such as MS Office
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Candidate shall be subject to security and fingerprint requirements for criminal and financial background investigations according to agency regulations and instructions.
Base Wage of $17.20/hr. H&W benefit package ($4.93/hr. equivalent) - 100% employee premiums paid enrollment in Medical, Dental, Vision, ST/LT disability enrollment - OR - an additional $4.93/hr. in taxable compensation if an insurance package is not required.
