Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the daily operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Read work orders or examine parts or sections of products to be produced.
• Trim or remove excess material using scrapers, knives, or band saws.
• Pour, pack, spread, or press aggregate, marble chips, epoxy, concrete, or other materials into molds.
• Assemble, insert, and adjust wires, tubes, cores, fittings, rods, or patterns into molds using hand tools and depth gauges.
• Measure and cut products to specified dimensions using measuring and cutting instruments.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with the building/construction trades is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
