We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Horticultural Manager to oversee our horticultural operations. This role is essential for ensuring the health and productivity of our plants and landscapes. Duties
- Manage and supervise all horticultural activities, including planting, growing, and maintaining various plant species.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as garden upkeep
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various horticultural tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Coordinate greenhouse operations, including temperature control, watering schedules, and pest management strategies.
- Develop and implement irrigation plans to optimize water usage while promoting healthy plant growth.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and equipment usage.
- Monitor plant health regularly and address any issues related to disease or pests promptly.
- Maintain records of plant growth, maintenance schedules, and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in horticulture or landscape management is required; familiarity with farming practices is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of growing techniques for various plants and landscapes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to horticulture tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients or stakeholders.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
- A degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
