We are looking for a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to meet the needs of our organization. This role involves working closely with various business SMEs to understand the data relevant to analytics and ensure that the data flows properly into our data eco-system efficiently, effectively, and aligned with business goals.
About the role

- Collaborate with source system SMEs to identify data requirements and extract critical and pertinent information from the data sets.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and configurations.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience as Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Self-starter, capable of excelling at both independent and collaborative work.
- Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data design techniques.
- Experience with database management systems.
- Robust understanding of data structures including dimensional models.
- Solid working knowledge of Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts (e.g. reporting, data analysis, ETL, data warehouse, data lake, visualization tools, dashboards).
- Expert in SQL with the ability to write complex, optimized queries across large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
