Job Summary:
Concorde Education is seeking an organized and proactive After School Activity Coordinator to oversee the operations of our after school activity program in Visalia, CA. This role will serve as the primary on-site liaison between Concorde Education, school staff, and instructors, ensuring the smooth execution of the program. The Coordinator will manage daily operations, recruit instructors, substitute for instructors as needed, conduct classroom observations, collect and report data, and provide real-time feedback to instructors to maintain instructional quality.
General Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Concorde Education, school staff, and instructors.
- Substitute for absent or late instructors to ensure uninterrupted student instruction.
- Conduct formal and informal classroom observations to maintain instructional quality.
- Collect, organize, and report instructor data, including attendance, session notes, and student outcomes.
- Provide real-time feedback and guidance to instructors to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Concorde Education leadership to address challenges and implement program improvements.
- Maintain a positive, professional environment that fosters collaboration and student growth.
Major Duties:
Program Coordination:
- Manage daily operations of the after school activity program.
- Address logistical issues, such as room assignments, materials, or technology needs.
Recruitment of Subject Matter Experts:
- Identify and recruit qualified subject matter experts (SMEs) to serve as instructors for sessions, ensuring they have both the relevant subject expertise and effective teaching skills.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential instructors by sourcing candidates through job boards, educational institutions, and professional networks.
- Screen and evaluate applicants for both subject knowledge and teaching experience, ensuring they meet Concorde Education’s standards for instructional quality.
- Onboard new instructors, ensuring they understand program expectations, policies, and Concorde Education's teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with Concorde Education leadership to ensure a diverse pool of qualified instructors is available to meet the needs of all subjects offered.
- Conduct ongoing follow-ups with instructors to assess their performance, provide professional development opportunities, and ensure they continue to deliver effective, high-quality instruction.
Substitute Instruction:
- Step into sessions as needed when instructors are absent or late.
- Deliver lessons based on established curriculum guidelines and student needs.
Instructional Oversight:
- Conduct regular classroom observations to assess instructional delivery and student engagement.
- In collaboration with Concorde’s Chief Academic Officer, provide actionable feedback to instructors during debriefs and/or professional development sessions.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Collect and maintain accurate attendance records for both students and instructors.
- Track student progress and instructor performance using provided tools and metrics.
- Submit weekly reports summarizing data and observations to Concorde leadership.
Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with school staff to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Communicate regularly with Concorde Education leadership about program status and needs.

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
