Major Duties:
- Collaborates regularly with the Director of Educational Development to plan and deliver effective test prep sessions.
- Develops and implements engaging group activities to facilitate student understanding and skill development.
- Provides individualized support to students in developing appropriate study habits, completing assignments, and exploring topics of interest.
- Maintains open communication with the Director of Educational Development to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Models positive academic and social behaviors to promote a supportive learning environment.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Development.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven responsibility, desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility.
- In-depth knowledge of academic content and skills.
- Ability to apply knowledge and tools to help students access material.
- Capacity to collect and analyze data to inform future instruction.
- Independently applies critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities to various situations.
- Extensive teaching and/or tutoring experience in standardized test prep is essential.
