Retail Service Associate

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer service to Dining Services retail guests in the short-order restaurant, the convenience store, the coffee shop, and concessions including replenishment of food and beverage items and preparation of hot and cold food.

• Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position.

• Replenishment of all food and beverage items and food preparation including grilled, baked, fried, and fresh items, and merchandising. 40%

• Provide direct customer service in concessions including assisting in event planning, cooking, replenishing product, cashiering, and filling customer orders. The position requires an insurable driving record. – 20%

• Provide direct customer service in the convenience store including cashier, and product replenishment. – 10%

• Provide direction to student employees and on-call staff – 10%

• Clean and maintain all food service equipment, and cleaning (sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, etc) as needed and adhere to and ensure that all health and safety practices are followed. – 10%

• Maintain temp log sheets, cooler and food production, and cooking documentation – 5%

• Work with student employees, co-workers, and management in service to our customers and assist with student employee recruitment and retention – 5%

Salary –$15.00 – $16.30 per hour

The final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, and alignment with the position’s requirements. Other considerations may include internal equity and market conditions.
