Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Utility Locator to join our fiber laying crew. This traveling role involves marking and locating underground utilities to ensure the safety of our projects and the surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate, identify, and mark underground utilities for fiber laying projects.
- Use specialized equipment to detect buried utility lines such as gas, water, electrical, and fiber optic cables.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each site location.
- Collaborate with the fiber installation crew and report findings to project managers.
- Travel to various project sites as needed, following Concordia Wireless's schedule and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Utility Locator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with utility locating equipment and mapping tools.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage travel schedules, and adapt to changing job sites.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
