We are Hiring Medication Technicians at Ligonier Gardens Personal Care!
We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medication Technicians for the Afternoon shift (2p-10:30p).
Competitive Med Tech Rates starting at $17.50/hour (we pay more for experience) featuring an $1.50/hour shift differential for the afternoon shift and $1.00/hour insurance supplement if waiving the insurance benefit.
$2,000 Retention Bonus for Full-Time, $1,000 Retention Bonus for Part-Time.
A Medication Technician is an employee who has been trained and passed the Department of Human Services Medication Administration course. This person is responsible for preparing, administering, and documenting all medications. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse and/or Personal Care Administrator.
Qualifications of a Certified Medication Technician:
Med Tech Certification (required)
Med Tech Experience 1 years (preferred)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Certified Medication Technician:
Assists residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
Completes all required documentation regarding medication administration.
Gives treatments as prescribed.
Answers call bells and responds to resident needs promptly.
Communicates observations and findings to the Charge Nurse.
Documents care, treatments provided, and other information as required by regulations and policies/procedures.
