What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant - Afternoon Shift position at Concordia Lutheran Ministries and Affiliates?
Concordia at Bethlen is looking to grow their team with dedicated and quality focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the afternoon (2p-10:30p) shift.
Certified Nursing Assistants receive paid on-the-job training and flexible shifts available. Wages up to $23/hour and an additional $1.00/hour supplement is offered if waiving benefits.
**$2,000 Retention Bonus for full-time CNAs, $1,000 Retention Bonus for part-time CNAs**
Concordia at Bethlen is a faith-based, non-profit continuing care retirement community located in historic Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Joining the Concordia family in 2023, Bethlen has a rich history of caring for the needs of others dating back to 1921.
Casual / PRN positions for Evening Shifts are available and require 2 weekend shifts a month.
Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistants:
Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide training program
Current Nurse Aide license from Pennsylvania in good standing
Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management,
Assisting residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning,
Documenting the care provided
Providing treatment per the ADL/treatment book
Answering resident call bells and responding to needs promptly.
