We are looking for a new Laundry Aide to join our team at Concordia at Cabot!
Job Description:
The Laundry Aide is responsible for working with our laundry team to manage of the laundry service needs of our residents here at Cabot including collecting laundry, washing, folding, and delivering clean linens and clothing.
This is a full time position with a schedule of exclusively morning shifts and rotating weekends.
Qualifications:
Caring, compassionate, and understanding
High school diploma or equivalent required
Laundry experience is preferable
Responsibilities:
Collect and sort resident laundry/linens
Clean soiled laundry by loading and unloading machines
Ensure that laundry is properly cleaned and dried according to State and Federal regulations
Fold, count, and re-distribute laundry/linens to resident rooms
Handle and mix chemicals safely and properly.
Clean and sanitize work areas daily including: machines, worktables, and sorting area
Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition
