Essential Job Functions
- Ensures that LCMS employers and plan members are knowledgeable in Concordia Retirement Savings Plan (CRSP) features and related IRS rules using phone, email and written communication.
- Seen as a recognized resource for the CRSP.
- Anticipates and responds to CRSP-specific inquiries from employers and members.
- Actively participates in multiple audits and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with CRSP procedures / plan.
- Devises, evaluates and employs methods and tools to complete the work cycle and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Serves as a day-to-day contact for outside vendors.
- Serves as a contact person for other CPS departments relating to CRSP plan processes.
- Ensures confidentiality in handing sensitive payroll and benefit information.
- Utilizes standard operating procedures for the purpose of quality assurance, process integrity and stewardship.
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree or related work experience, required; Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Knowledge of 401(k) and/or 403(b) regulations and terminology, preferred.
- Demonstrated delivery of accurate financial calculations, required.
- Successful participation on collaborative team(s).
- Experience managing time-sensitive processes, deadlines, etc., with empathy and compassion.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferred.
- Experience using workflow management technology, preferred.
Competencies
- Organizational savvy: ability to navigate in a regulated industry and with complex organizations.
- Systems fluency: proficiency with MS Office suite; experience with system and collaborative tools (Pinnacle, Infor [Lawson], SharePoint or industry equivalents), preferred.
