Intermediate Front-End Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Software Developer to join our modeling and simulation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python, Unreal Engine, and C . You’ll work with our high performing team to productize technologies developed by staff including advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, and high-quality integrated modeling and simulation environments. You’ll develop user interfaces and package software products for delivery to multiple customers. This position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain front-end applications using Python, Unreal Engine, and C .

· Lead the development of user interfaces to meet individual customer needs

· Collaborate with analysts and software development teams to define, design, and ship new features.

· Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

· Identify and correct performance bottlenecks and fix bugs.

· Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

· Design aesthetically pleasing and easy to use graphical user interfaces to meet individual customer requirements for multiple product lines.

· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience in front-end development using Python, Unreal Engine, and C .

· Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

· Experience with version control systems such as Git.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· US citizenship is required.

· Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

· Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks.

· Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
