Position Overview : We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a Tenure-Track Faculty member in Teacher Education. The successful candidate will be a team member in the initial licensure programs, teaching courses, serving as the Director of the Lutheran Classroom Teacher program, and supervising clinical experiences. Responsibilities may also include curriculum development; assessment; and service to the life of the university, the Church, the profession, and / or the community.
Responsibilities :
- Teach undergraduate and / or graduate courses in Teacher Education
- Serve as the Director of the Lutheran Classroom Teacher program (supplemental job description and workload)
- Supervise clinical experiences for teacher education candidates
- Advise and mentor students in the education programs
- Engage in scholarly research and publication
- Participate in departmental and university service under the direction of the Department Chair
