Position Summary
Concordia University is accepting applications for the full-time position of Academic Coordinator, School of Business. The Coordinator will support the MBA program in a wide variety of areas including but not limited to marketing, student & instructor support, academic scheduling, events, graduation and administrative support for long-term success of the program.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit annual academic schedules for assigned programs
- Monitor course enrollment for future sessions on a weekly basis and make suggestions for schedule adjustments, as needed
- Work directly with SES advisors to coordinate course offerings, fill low enrolled courses, and suggest alternate courses, as needed
- Create program progression plans and work closely with SES advisors to enable student registration, retention, and completion of program
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding adjunct faculty
- Maintain and update adjunct faculty approval forms
- Regularly review program website, portal, and handbook for updates and assist with social media content creation and monitoring
- Maintain and update program-specific forms and mach forms, as needed
- Coordinate the request to graduate process and perform graduation audits
- Assist with the coordination of program recruiting, admissions, and orientation events
- Coordinate, plan, market, and oversee program specific events, such as MBA Industry Leaders Seminar
- Coordinate directly with outside constituents of programs
- Coordinate analytics and reports for data driven decisions
- Assist in coordination of study abroad, overseas exchange and Business Scholars programs
- Develop and maintain adjunct faculty gratitude program
- Maintain professional collaborative relations with CIC international staff; directors, admissions counselors
- Assist in the coordination of student worker activities, if applicable
- Maintain collaborative relations with School of Business graduate program directors and advisors
- Maintain confidentiality and respect FERPA regulations
- Available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional evening hours beyond 6pm. One day per week of work on the Mequon campus is required.

- Knowledge and skill in the use social media sites
- Knowledge of SCT Banner and Blackboard is advantageous
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Christian faith and Concordia University's mission

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Professional experience in business, social media, and higher education administration preferred
