Position Summary
Concordia University seeks part-time Adjunct Faculty applicants for the School of Business who are able to teach both in-person and online graduate business analytics classes for the Batterman School of Business. Adjunct Faculty fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world. Adjunct Faculty members advise and mentor students while serving as Christian role-models. This position reports to the Director of the Master of Science in Business Analytics program and is located on the Mequon campus.
The appointment may begin in the Fall 2025 semester upon the hiring of a suitable candidate and may be a renewable position. Specific areas that need to be filled include:
- BUAN 4850: Business Data Analytics Programming with Visualization
- BUAN 4900: Analytics and the Digital Economy
- BUAN 4950: Data Analytics: Integrative Project
- BUAN 5000: Introduction to Coding, Programming, and Databases for Analytics
- BUS 5130: Mastering Analytics & Decision-Making
- BUS 6300: Management Information Systems
- BUS 9102: Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytic
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be able to teach via all modalities (online, virtual, and face-to-face) of analytics courses on the Mequon, WI campus on an as needed basis. Virtual and face-to-face courses take place once a week M-Th from 6-9pm. Online courses are asynchronous. Terms are 8 weeks in length.
- Assist in student advising and mentoring
- Provide evaluation
- Responsible for meeting with assigned students throughout the semester
- Provides a quality learning experience for students.
- Adjunct faculty report to the director and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university
- All other duties as assigned

- Familiar with the university campus life
- Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Business Analytics or Master's degree in a related field with significant relevant work experience required
- Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program is preferred
