Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a part-time floating Home Health Aide for flexible shifts to care for our patients in and around the McKees Rocks Area.
Typical hours for Home Health Aides are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm but we are open to other possibilities. Let us know what type of schedule you are seeking. No weekends or holidays!

The home health aide is a paraprofessional staff member trained to provide personal care, activities of daily living, exercise programs, and related services in the home for the sick and disabled, when no family member can assume this responsibility. This employee functions under the direction, instruction and supervision of the registered nurse and/or therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS for the Home Health Aide:
- Completion of a formal home health aide/nursing assistant program is preferred.
- Successfully completes Agency Competency Evaluation
- One year of supervised employment as an home health aide or nursing assistant
- Scores at or above the 75% score on the nursing assistant evaluation/pre-employment test
- Ability to understand and carry out directions and instructions and keep appropriate records
- Hold current HSFA card
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits
- Car must be covered by established amount of insurance as described in personnel policies
- Driver must have valid driver’s license
