Overview
Team Express Training Center and Pro Shop is a new facility offering batting cage rentals, training center rentals and retail sales of Concourse Team Express baseball products. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with daily operations, including sales, inventory management, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Training Center and Pro Shop hours are Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items.
- Manage stock levels by organizing inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
- Supervise usage of the batting cages
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management tasks.
Skills
- Knowledge of baseball equipment preferred by not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in retail sales and familiarity with POS systems.
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and stock management effectively.
- Ability to upsell products through effective communication techniques.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain stock levels and store appearance.
Must be able to have a clean drug test and background check
