Who we are looking for:
Our engineering positions are highly dynamic and offer extensive benefits with competitive pay in a highly rewarding environment and industry. They work closely with the design, supply, specifying and construction community to effectively select, produce, place and use ready mixed concrete utilizing current and advancing technologies. We seek individuals who are passionate about applying their technical aptitude to solve simple to complex challenges.
Our engineer’s primary duties and responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to our ESC (Engineering Service Center) on requests for design, materials, pavement and concrete construction recommendations.
- Lead and facilitate training and certification activities with team members in national accredited and developed programs throughout Ohio.
- Assist area Promotion Directors with technical marketing, development and education activities.
- Support membership through technical assistance and troubleshooting for applications, concrete production, materials, construction, and post-construction defects.
- Actively serve and participate with national, state and local materials and technical committees to engage on current concrete materials research activities and new innovations.
- Maintain and update technical documents to stay current with trends in industry publications, standards and specifications.
Specific education, knowledge and skills required:
- Engineering college graduate or equivalent, Bachelor of Science minimum
- Understand basic concrete and materials technology in design, production and construction; concrete materials experience, construction background a plus.
- Registered Ohio Professional Engineer desired or ability to receive once eligible.
- Must have excellent communication skills and present to technical/non-technical groups. ➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong technological skills
- Possess advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be physically fit for construction site trips and manage trade shows.
- Must be outgoing, personable and exhibit professional demeanor.
- Capable of working in a close and dynamic team environment.
- Industry sustainability education, initiatives, research, and solutions background a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
