The Project Executive serves as a senior leader responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and performance of construction projects. This role integrates high-level project management with operational oversight, ensuring that projects meet organizational objectives for
safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Project Executive works closely with
upper management, field teams, and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes while
fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership :
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic programs and project goals.
- Create long-term plans to achieve organizational objectives, aligning project execution with company vision.
- Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and recommend cost optimization strategies.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure projects meet or exceed expectations.
Operational Oversight
Provide high-level management of field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.Coordinate with Project Managers to address resource allocation, manpower needs, and equipment coordination.Act as a key decision-maker for resolving challenges that arise on projects, escalating issues as needed to appropriate leadership.Safety And Compliance
Partner with the Director of Safety to implement and uphold safety protocols across all projects.Promote a culture of safety by conducting regular safety observations and ensuring all employees are properly trained.Monitor adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.Client And Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, General Contractors, and other stakeholders.Act as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns, ensuring satisfaction and trust in project delivery.Team Development And Performance
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering professional growth and alignment with company values.Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and support for continuous improvement.Operational Efficiency And Coordination
Ensure consistency in operating procedures across all projects and teams.Oversee project schedules, reviewing two-week look-ahead plans and providing guidance to maintain timelines.Monitor and manage job costs to ensure financial performance aligns with project goals.Attend and lead key meetings, including preconstruction, kickoff, pre-pour, and operations reviews.Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience :
5 years of leadership experience in commercial, industrial, tilt-up, or multi-story construction.Strong technical knowledge of concrete construction practices and project management methodologies.Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and project performance metrics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with clients, employees, and vendors.Flexibility to travel or temporarily relocate to job sites as needed.Preferred Qualifications
OSHA Certification, TCA, or ACI Certification.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
