Qualifications:
- Pay depends on experience: Laborers & Form-setter/Finisher
- Minimum 3 years of concrete finishing experience
- MUST know how to read plans
- Valid drivers license to travel to and from locations as needed.
- Perform a variety of tasks that require physical labor.
- Assist in other general construction activities as directed
- Able to accept and use clear and concise directions in order to complete work assignments
- Knowledge of concrete forms, pours, placement and carpentry terminology and materials used in the trade.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Skill in using concrete and carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.
- Able to travel to and from locations as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Candidate MUST be dependable & reliable.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare concrete forms and structures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools to mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces.
· Tie various types of steel for concrete structures.
- Able to work with all types of hand and power tools such as but not limited to trowels, skill saws, hammer drills, concrete saws, layout, measuring equipment, small equipment and general construction tools.
- Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, or oral instructions.
- Ensure proper finishing techniques are applied for durability and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient construction site.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
