ob Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) & HVAC Field Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair both VFD systems and Greenheck HVAC equipment for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of VFD units and repairing of Greenheck HVAC systems in the field. You will also respond to equipment breakdowns, perform on-site repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades. As a representative of Greenheck in Northern, Central, and Southeast Florida, you will occasionally work on and start up Greenheck equipment, including Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS). We offer all necessary factory-level training, as well as field training with our experienced service technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to discuss their VFD and HVAC electrical needs and requirements.
- Provide basic VFD and HVAC equipment training and instructions to clients.
- Installation and Commissioning:
- Install, troubleshoot, and commission VFD units and HVAC equipment at clients' locations.
- Review electrical and mechanical connections to ensure proper application of equipment.
- Repair and Maintenance:
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform on-site repairs on both VFD and HVAC systems.
- Test, calibrate, and repair damaged VFD and HVAC units.
- Perform preventative maintenance on VFD and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Greenheck Equipment Support:
- Occasionally work on and start up Greenheck DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems) equipment as needed.
- Customer Relations and Sales Support:
- Advise clients on equipment upgrades and promote company products and services.
- Maintain strong customer relations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Pay: $22.73 - $27.38 per hour
