Precast Laborer

Essential Functions

· Perform daily job duties as directed by Foreman.

· Remove tarps, plastic and dunnage from every product as need

· Set gates and block-outs as required by layout and plans

· Pull cable and tie rebar as layout and plans dictate

· Cut cable, remove recess cups, remove gates, and remove block-outs as directed

· Securely tie in embeds, inserts and other items as shown on the plans or layout

· Install mesh or other items required in product

· Apply form oil/ bond breaker

· Grind and Clean beds or molds as the product is removed

· Stack, pack, carry, organize and arrange materials as directed

· Clean up tools and work area at the end of shift or during shift as work schedule permits

Job Specifications

· Must be able to operate fork lift, loaders, trucks, and other equipment

· Must be able to move/transport heavy equipment

· Constantly exposed to wet/dry cement, dust, and other airborne agents

· Must abide by Concrete Materials Company’s policies and regulations

· Additional duties as assigned by foreman and/or supervisory personnel

· Person in this position must be able to move around the precast facility and work on their feet for multiple hours at a time

· Ability to read a tape measure, cast books, and blue prints

· Mostly indoor and covered working conditions

· Good communication skills

· Ability to safely lift 60 lbs

Education and Qualifications

· At least one (1) year or more of concrete/construction experience

· High school Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
