Operations Manager Duties
The Operations Area Manager in the concrete pumping industry
oversees the day-to-day operations within the Charlotte area. The
duties may include, and are subject to change: managing a team of
operators and technicians (Technicians on Satellite locations), scheduling
and coordinating equipment deployment to various job sites, ensuring
compliance (5 inspections weekly) with safety regulations (Ensure PTP is done weekly), maintain equipment (DVIR review), manage
inventory and logistics, liaising with clients to understand their needs,
resolving any issues or disputes (working together with our sales Team),
and optimize operational efficiency to meet production targets and
deadlines. Requires having a CDL and occasionally running a piece of
equipment when needed as well as weekend availability.
The Area Manager will also be responsible for monitoring budgetary constraints and
implementing cost-saving measures where possible. Overall, this role is
crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the Charlotte area.
Making sure all departments communicate daily. Manage safety, operations, dispatch,
maintenance and operators to ensure equipment is running in optimal
condition.
