Position Snapshot: CP&P’s Engineered Products division is looking for a hands-on and mechanically inclined Field Service Representative. In this position, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful assembly, installation, and performance of our products. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to provide on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and product specifications.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair reports.
  • Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist with the hands-on assembly of internal components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in field service or a similar role.
 
Requirements:
  • Must reside in the continental U.S. within the assigned region. No relocation assistance is provided.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
 
Typical Schedule: Work is generally performed Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week depending on workload and production demands, with regular travel to work sites in the region.
 
Typical Physical Demands: Physical agility and may require any or all of the following: standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50lbs. max).
 
Working Conditions: Office work will be performed in clean, climate-controlled areas, with fluorescent lighting. Assembly and installation tasks may be performed in a production environment or in the field, with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noises, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production areas and when on the job site.
 
Compensation: Based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
