CP&P is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic customer service team. This role is key in building customer relationships while managing the entire order process — from gathering production details to overseeing delivery and billing. You'll take full ownership of each order, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time execution while working closely with sales, production, and dispatch. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Manage complete order life cycle from inception to delivery.
• Answer all customer requests/inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Price verification, managing change orders and additional components.
• Schedule all orders and promptly gather all order requirements.
• Follow up on all submittals to ensure timely approval and processing.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and departments to ensure accurate and on-time product delivery.
• Daily management of job progress and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling field support visits to resolve any issues and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain system data accuracy and integrity.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Be able to back-up and work closely with sales and help other departments as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to manage an order throughout its complete life cycle.
• Ability to read/interpret civil engineering plans and CP&P production drawings.
• Learn and understand CP&P product types.
• Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of CP&P precast concrete products and their purpose is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems/applications (Titan or similar ERP preferred).
Qualifications:
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in customer service, project management, or construction site development.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education/training or combination of education/experience preferred.
• Familiarity with precast concrete production systems and processes is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
• Must reside in the continental U.S. within the assigned region. No relocation assistance is provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Typical Schedule: Work is generally performed Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week depending on workload and production demands.
Typical Physical Demands: Physical mobility, which may require any or all the following: standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50 lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50 lbs. max).
Working Conditions: Office work will be performed in clean, climate-controlled areas, with fluorescent lighting. May occasionally enter the production environment or visit job sites with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production and loading areas.
