We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plant Lead to oversee our ready-mix concrete production facility. The Plant Lead will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining product quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Principal Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
  Oversee the daily operations of the concrete plant, including production scheduling, batching, and delivery logistics.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead and supervise plant staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
• Quality Control:
  Monitor production processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials.
• Inventory Management:
  Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
• Maintenance Oversight:
  Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and repairs of plant equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, safety compliance, and quality control to management.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirements:
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ready-mix concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment.

Abilities:

• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications:

• Must be SCDOT and ACI Certified.
