SUMMARY:
Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for a seasonal experienced Agricultural Equipment Fabricator that will provide technical support, schematic planning, design, and manufacturing of ag-planting equipment. This person will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in working with various materials and tools. This individual will assemble and fabricate metal components to meet project specifications while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role has the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and review engineering plans and designs, specifications, calculations, and other supporting documents.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on quality assurance to ensure the completed project meets or exceeds design expectations.
- Fit and weld (mostly MIG, possibly some stick) various metal components to design drawings and specifications.
- Perform various labor tasks associated with assembly of new agricultural equipment.
- Lay out, position, align and fit together parts of metal, according to schematic designs, in preparation for welding.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment to fabricate components.
- Assemble fabricated parts and ensure proper fit and finish before final inspection.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and using excellent safety practices, while visiting job sites, per CTI policies and OSHA, federal, and state laws and regulations.
- Other job-related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years' experience in fabrication/welding. Knowledge of manufacturing technology software (i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro E, etc.) a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Related technical degree, preferred, or relevant experience in place of education.
- Analyzation of design and fitment of steel parts/structures.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Proficient math skills required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
- Ability to read and analyze engineering plans and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, work well under time constraints, and responds positively to change.
