Summary
CTI Recycling is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Sales MIT that will work directly with customers and operations to grow sales volume and deliver product on schedule. Networking within the market and building strong relationships with key buyers and the Recycling Operations Manager are the key elements to the success of this position. This position will, ultimately, replace the current Sales Manager, upon his retirement and has a direct path to becoming the Director of Operations for all of CTI Recycling.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Gain full understanding of crushing operations at all CTI Recycling Sites.
- Obtain/maintain associated certifications (AGG1, AGG2, etc.).
- Sales prospecting by way of sales calls with customers, engineers, city officials, etc. while building a network of peers within the industry.
- Maintain current relationships with influential buyers as well as foster new customer relationships.
- Quote projects, deliver product, project sales, and procure raw materials.
- Perform A/R collections.
- Network within this industry's community to gain knowledge of new/upcoming projects in Iowa and the Midwest.
- Understand competitor capabilities and market share.
- Grow the sales of recycled materials and hauling.
- Work directly with the operations team to understand and meet sales demand.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and using excellent practices, while visiting job sites, per CTI policies and OSHA, federal, and state laws and regulations.
- Other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- 3 years' experience in construction/construction sales and 3 years' experience in customer relations management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Mining degree, preferred, or relevant experience in place of education.
- Possess excellent mathematic skills.
- Manufacturing or Sales ERP experience, Command Alkon preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable sales forecasting, prospecting, and cultivating success.
- Proven history of scheduling, management, and organization of sales administration duties.
- Excellent time management skills, work well under time constraints, and responds positively to change.
- Valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must pass a post conditional offer of employment general physical.
