Who We’re Looking For
We are excited to welcome a new Solutions Architect to our sales team. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical thought leader, aligning technical solutions with customer business needs, and be highly engaged with customers to identify new sales opportunities. They should demonstrate strong technical expertise across three or more Concurrency capabilities, lead pre-sales efforts, and evangelize Concurrency capabilities. Additionally, they will participate actively in the local technical community, sharing knowledge through blogging, industry groups, and speaking engagements. This role involves collaborating with practice managers to identify capability gaps and set future directions, working closely with the sales team to develop and execute Strategic Account Plans, including up-spell, cross-sell, and escalation management, and partnering with Concurrency leadership to help define the company's strategy. What You'll Do
- Collaborate on establishing and maintaining Concurrency’s go-to-market direction by providing expert communication and collaboration skills to guide projects effectively.
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels and lead consultative discovery conversations in pre-sales to scope engagements and translate them into infrastructure solutions.
- Serve as an expert technical resource for M365 solutions, including Identity, Security/EMS, Exchange, Teams, Endpoint Manager, Compliance, Virtualization, and related technologies.
- Partner with account managers in a pre-sales technical role to develop customer designs and architectures.
- Achieve sales and profit goals through client interactions, account planning, partner teaming, and solution development.
- Lead the development of complex Modern Workplace conversations, driving technical requirements workshops and translating them into proposals and statements of work.
- Design and plan large-scale migrations to M365, including remediation and test plans.
- Identify sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct workshops as an SME on platform, security, governance, and compliance for the M365 platform.
- Lead gap analysis and design workshops to build functional requirements and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with Engineers/Architects to align technology architecture with the customer's mission.
- Document existing and future state architecture with functional requirements and specifications.
- Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Review and guide project documentation, including statements of work, implementation plans, deployment plans, and test plans.
- Develop and present business cases to customers, maintaining expert-level knowledge of cost, benefit, and risk drivers.
- Draft and refine SOWs for relevant solutions environments, focusing on the Enterprise segment.
- Lead and execute the Solution Environment Portfolio from a technical perspective to support go-to-market strategies.
What You'll Need
- 5 years of experience in a professional services organization.
- 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect for multiple Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprise clients.
- 2 years of experience in sales opportunity identification and pre-sales support.
- Proven years of experience providing Microsoft solutions, platforms, or technologies to enterprise level customers.
- Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction
- Strong consulting / project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.
- Extensive experience writing and responding to large scale engagements and presenting to clients
What Will Set You Apart
- A strong history of engagement within the Microsoft technology community or having a Microsoft MVP status.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics or Computer Engineering.
