Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the complex and busy diary of the General Counsel, ensuring that meetings and engagements are appropriately and sensitively prioritized and managed to meet the requirements of the General Counsel
- Act as a conduit for the flow of high level and sensitive information and use sound judgement and problem-solving skills when making recommendations regarding tasks, events, deadlines etc.
- Ensure all mail and email is properly and efficiently dealt with, keeping track of issues that are pending and following up relevant responses
- Undertake research and collate information as needed in support of the General Counsel
- Arrange, plan itineraries for, and coordinate travel, meetings and away days for the General Counsel to ensure objectives are met, with the best use of time, and value for money
- Process General Counsel’s expenses
- Maintain confidentiality and a high level of discretion at all times
- Take responsibility for the safe custody and maintenance of all relevant electronic and paper documents, files, and records
- Process all invoices and expenses for costs incurred by members of the Legal team
- Assisting with internal administration between Legal and other shared service departments (i.e. IT, Finance, Comms, Ops and HR)
- Providing assistance on the planning and delivery of internal events and informal workshops. This includes support with speaker management and agenda development, responsibility for logistics and delivery
- Liaising with a wide range of business and personal contacts including clients, senior executives within the organization and externally, restaurants and hotels
- Assisting in the creation of presentation materials
- Build relationships within Condé Nast headquarters and offices globally
- Perform any other EA related duties or projects as requested
- Onboard new starters for the Legal team
- Support with inbox management where necessary
- Experience in a similar Senior role essential; 5 years experience
- Interest in Legal/Publishing desirable
- Pro-active and able to use initiative and have the confidence to work independently
- Extremely organized with exceptional time management skills and able to prioritize efficiently
- Experience of supporting a variety of individuals
- Confident and able to communicate with staff at different levels and across different departments internationally
- Helpful to have experience of working in an international environment and building solid working relationships with teams across different countries, cultures, and time zones
- Excellent grammar, spelling, drafting, writing and proof-reading ability, including experience with design and formatting of slides, presentation graphics and images
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Numerate, with strong attention to detail
- Advanced G-suite skills and a working knowledge of Apple products; Self-driven and motivated, with an ability to show initiative in all situations and the ability to take responsibility for actions
- Extremely discreet
- A friendly, personable, productive and patient manner

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
