What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Condesa?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a POS system, preferably Aloha POS
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and garnishments
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
