We are currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic to join our fast-growing team in Macon, GA.
Job Responsibilities
This position will report to the Installation Manager and has the responsibility to the entire Conditioned Air construction team.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

We are currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic to join our fast-growing team in Macon, GA.
Job Responsibilities
- Install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices
- Complete paperwork daily, recording materials used on each job, in accurate manner
- Independently install new HVAC systems
- Wire up all basic HVAC low voltage wiring: furnace, a/c, thermostats, zone controls
- Fabricate duct fittings and lay out job without supervision
- Read blueprints and lay out duct
- Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
- Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC & Refrigeration needs
This position will report to the Installation Manager and has the responsibility to the entire Conditioned Air construction team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Active EPA Universal certificate
- Visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, to install and replace HVAC equipment and parts
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects
- Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures
