The Associate Environmental Specialist is responsible for preparing construction and industrial storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs); executing Monitoring and Reporting Programs; preparing Annual Monitoring Reports; conducting storm water Best Management Practice (BMP) visual site inspections; and assisting with NPDES Permit compliance (IGP, CGP, and MS4). The Associate Environmental Specialist also conducts storm water sampling, uploads and submits regulatory documents to SMARTs, and coordinates with subcontractor support services. This role may also support industrial compliance programs including SPCC Plans and HMMPs/HMBPs.

Position Details:
The Associate Environmental Specialist will primarily:
- Assist managers with marketing package preparation and business development.
- Review Request for Proposals (RFPs), prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Manage assignments to meet budget and deadline requirements.
- Document field site visits with photography and performs field site inspection/sampling for SWPPPs and MRPs.
- Conduct and document internet research on technical and regulatory issues.
- Prepare Notice of Intent (NOI) documents including SWPPPs and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs).
- Conduct Annual Evaluations and prepare Annual Reports and SWPPPs for storm water compliance.
- Conduct data compilation and analysis
- Trave during the daytime up to 50% throughout the markets we serve (primarily Northern California).
Well qualified candidates will have:
- Three or more years of industry-related work experience.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in environmental sciences, or closely related discipline.
- Storm water certifications preferred such as CPESC or CESSWI; potential to get or has QSD/QSP.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
