As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that the physical aspects of our properties meet our high standards and comply with applicable laws. This dynamic role involves diagnosing and repairing issues across various trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior structures, and appliances. You'll also support the maintenance needs of our current and future New Hampshire apartment communities and contribute to the construction and build-out process of new properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to service requests for repairs and improvements.
- Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready conditions.
- Perform non-technical tasks such as exterior maintenance, cleaning, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, caulking, painting, and lock repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and hallways.
- Participate in an on-call emergency maintenance rotation.
- Perform snow removal tasks as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role.
- Skills: Boiler and HVAC experience is a plus.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required for travel between multiple locations.
- Character: Must be trustworthy (background checks will be conducted) and hardworking.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50 lbs., work outdoors in cold conditions, and handle chemicals and paint.
