Minimum Qualifications for this role:
- Dispatch and/or security experience is preferred (related experience will be considered)
- Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software is required
- Demonstrated ability to be very customer service oriented
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to learn new software programs if needed
- Performs a wide variety of dispatch duties, performs related work as assigned
- Uses EHUB scheduling software to adjust schedules
- Uses Silvertrac software to monitor officer activity during all shifts and at all posts
- Answers dispatch calls with a clear, concise, and professional voice
- Duties include (but are not limited to) continuous CCTV live surveillance of multiple sites
- Bilingual/Biliterate is a plus!
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college education or business classes preferred
Physical Functions and Working Environment
- The job is generally performed in an office environment
- The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write English
Other
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
- Employment is conditioned on successful completion of a drug screening and background check
- If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
