Program Coordinator Position

Conduct Curb is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator 3 to join our team. As a Program Coordinator 3, the incumbant will be responsible for working under the supervision of the BCBA to provide training and guidance on skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans to trainers and RBTs. The Program Coordinator 3 may also be required to provide as needed daily, one-on-one ABA treatment services based on treatment plans and behavior plans developed by a BCBA.

  • Adhere to standards in the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160321-compliance-code-english.pdf).
  • Recognize and abide by boundaries of practice set forth in the BACB 4 Ed Task List (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160101-BCBA-BCaBA-task-list-fourth-edition-english.pdf).
  • Assist all staff in addressing maladaptive behaviors based on behavior reduction plans and implementing interventions based on skill acquisition plans.
  • Provide training to Behavior Technicians on skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans developed by the BCBA.
  • Assist BCBA with conducting behavioral assessments and functional analyses.
  • Assist BCBA with data collection, ITP development, and BIP development.
  • Assist BCBA with new client intake by conducting observations, assessments, and parent/client interviews.
  • Create skill acquisition programs as directed by BCBA and based on assessment and goals developed by BCBA.
  • Develop specific teaching procedures for program targets.
  • Provide individual ABA therapy services to Conduct Curb clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when requested.
  • Talk with parents and act as a liaison between the guardian/caregiver and BCBA.
  • Provide training on client behavior reduction plan and skill acquisition plan to parents and caregivers.
  • Provide crisis management and guidance on client cases during crisis situations.
  • Train and manage Behavior Technicians in the absence of the BCBA.
  • Provide feedback on Behavior Technician progress and behavior to BCBA.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions as needed/requested.
  • Oversee two-four client caseloads with active collaboration with assigned BCBA.
  • Maintain client welfare and dignity.
  • Abide by RBT handbook, task list and Code of Ethics (current edition).

Physical Demands

Program Coordinators may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, and/or do repetitive tasks with few breaks. Program Coordinators may also be required to use various methods of safe physical management techniques to ensure the safety of Conduct Curb clients and staff.

Required Education and Experience

  • Credentialed Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) preferred.
  • Master’s degree or completed ABA degree requirements from an accredited college or university in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Accrued 100% of outlined independent field work hours per the Behavior Analysis Certification Board requirements for the BCaBA or BCBA supervision track.
  • Must be eligible to sit for BCBA exam.
  • Experience and expertise in working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Trained in safe physical management techniques (or able to attend and participate in safe physical management technique trainings).

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Must pass criminal and sexual abuse background checks.
  • Must provide proof of clean TB and drug tests.
