Assist the EVP, General Counsel with all legal and compliance matters associated with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and its subsidiaries, including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Mammoth, Ball Arena, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theater, Altitude Sports Network, Outdoor Sportsman Group, as well as several other media, broadcast and sporting entities (collectively “KSE”). In this role you will partner, coordinate, and communicate with colleagues at all levels and across all businesses at KSE delivering comprehensive legal services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Support on all transactional matters related to the business operations of KSE, including, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as sponsorship, licensing agreements, event agreements, technology agreements, media rights agreements, ticketing agreements, marketing / promotional agreements, sweepstakes rules, retail leases, and arena operation and vendor agreements.
- Assist with corporate governance and corporate finance matters.
- Assist with litigation matters and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Management of insurance matters in coordination with insurance advisors.
- Assist with intellectual property matters, including trademarks, domains and copyrights.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
- Assist with drafting and monitoring corporate policies.
- Analysis and monitoring of relevant league rules, regulations, directives, and governance documents.
- Develop and conduct educational trainings for KSE employees on all relevant legal and compliance matters.
