What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Engineer position at Conductive Technologies, Inc.?

Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s supply chain and logistics operations. Responsibilities include purchasing, vendor development and maintenance, and inventory management. Works closely with design, production, engineering, quality, and sales to ensure continuity of supply while supporting continuous improvement internally and with vendors.


Position Responsibilities:

· Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.

· Build and maintain solid relationships with current vendors.

· Seek out and qualify alternative and new vendors.

· Identify and track supply chain KPIs.

· Utilize ERP/MRP system to assure on-time delivery of required materials and services.

· Develop process models for vendor selection, qualification, maintenance, and scoring.

· Participate in supplier quality audits.

· Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the plant.

· Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.

· Create and maintain supply chain documentation.

· Willingness to execute other assigned responsibilities as necessary to assist Conductive Technologies in meeting its goals and objectives.

· Comply with all corporate policies and departmental procedures.

· Protect Conductive Technologies’ and customers’ confidentiality.


Position Requirements:

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· In depth knowledge of supply chain operations and best practices.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or science related field

· 0-3 years experience
