Substation Technicians

Conductor Power is seeking skilled Substation Technician to perform installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of high-voltage (HV) electrical substations and equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring system reliability, adhering to safety standards, and supporting project timelines. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HV systems, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in the power industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays. 
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. 
• Monitor and assess the performance of solar energy systems and substations to ensure optimal operation. 
• Utilize SCADA systems to analyze data and report on system performance. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. 
• Participate in safety training and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. 
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. 
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical problems. 
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. 
• Prepare reports on system performance and maintenance activities for management.
• Complies with all company policies. 
• All other duties as assigned or deemed appropriate.
