Mailroom Document Processors

Springfield, MA

$18 per hour & Great Benefits

8am- 5:30pm Monday- Friday with OT Opportunities

Job Details:

• Training is on the job for 2 to 4 weeks. Will need to be willing to cross train in all areas.
• Work schedule is 8:00am but may start as early as 7:00am if production requires until 5:30pm, M-F with occasional OT on Saturdays.
• Employee will be responsible for the sorting, prepping, and scanning of up to two thousand (2000) insurance claims and documentation that come into our mailroom daily.
• May be required to provide data entry for said documents into our clients’ system log for most or all of your scheduled workday.
• Perform repetitive duties in a high-speed environment such as removing staples, rubber bands, repairing torn documents or copying document types and inserting the appropriate patch sheets to separate the claims.
• Claims will need to be placed into bins which is based on the sorting rules and policies.
• May be responsible for processing and logging up to seven hundred (700) checks daily into our clients’ system-strong attention to detail and data entry skills is required.
• Ability to read and follow directions thoroughly as outlined by our clients’ requirements and requests.
• Employees may periodically lift boxes up to 20lbs and/or move with use of carts or pallet jacks if needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
• Strong attention to detail is required for this role.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as OUTLOOK and TEAMS
• Basic Data Entry skill is a huge plus.
• Must be able to clear a criminal background check that includes a credit check and fingerprint scan.
• Must be able to pass a required Drug Screening
• Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary for this role is $18.00.
