About the Role
As part of the technical team, you will provide desktop and operating systems support to onsite and remote business users.
Responsibilities
- Providing end-user technical support including performing hardware/software installations and resolving day-to-day system problems onsite and remote staff.
- Deploying, supporting, and configuring Windows 10 and 11 operating systems and Avaya softphones.
- Working closely with trainers during onsite and remote new hire setup and orientation.
- Performing routine and repetitive technical support activities.
- Resolving routine and complex issues and assignments.
- Maintaining computer and hardware inventory.
- Interfacing with end users by phone and/or in person.
Requirements
- Have a degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Show a minimum of one year of related technical support experience.
- Possess knowledge of computing processes and technology including Windows 10 or 11 Operating Systems, system hardware and software diagnostics.
- Able to work effectively under pressure to diagnose user needs and escalate problems.
