Vice President, General Manager
Position Summary :
Sets or significantly influences the strategic direction for the company and is accountable for the performance of all, or a significant part of a Business Unit or function.
Sets the long-term strategic direction for the area of accountability (e.g., Function, Sector, Vertical or Horizontal).
Management responsibilities include hiring & terminating decisions, performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development for three or more employees.
Key Responsibilities :
Accountable for the financial and operational performance of client groups
Management responsibilities may include training and development for three or more employees.
Responsible for hiring, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP's) and terminating, performance appraisals and pay reviews
Influences the strategic direction of client groups
Responsible for developing and strengthening executive client relationships
Accountable for supporting and renewing annuity business in a client group
Responsible for accurately forecasting and achieving targets for add-on and new capabilities business
Responsible for account business planning and execution
Accountable for communicating, escalating and supporting account health in a client group
May support client negotiation of a deal
Applies in-depth knowledge of client business and Conduent solutions to differentiate and better position Conduent in the competitive landscape
Establishes collaborative relationships across Conduent to help client partners achieve their goals
Shapes the opinions of, and negotiates with, other senior leaders to improve operations in Conduent
