About the Position

Conduit Power is on a path to supplement our Nation's power generation system with reliable and dispatchable generation in ways that reduces carbon footprint and accelerates the transition to clean, renewable energy.

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer / Specialist (ICE / S) at who will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our reciprocating engines and battery energy storage systems. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain instrumentation and control systems that ensure the reliability, efficiency, security, and safety of our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of energy innovation and contribute to shaping the future of the industry.

You will :

Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for thermal power plants and battery storage systems.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software engineers, and implementation teams to integrate instrumentation and control systems into overall product design.
Specify, select, and procure sensors, actuators, controllers, and all other hardware necessary for instrumentation and control systems.
Develop control algorithms and strategies to optimize the performance, efficiency, security, and safety of energy storage and generation systems.
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems, both in laboratory and field environments.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in instrumentation and controls engineering.
Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams during product development, manufacturing, and deployment phases.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance the capabilities and reliability of instrumentation and control systems.
Develop and track internal training and development programs in support of a culture of safe work.

What You Bring to the Team :

Must be able to legally work in the United States of America

A minimum of 2-5 years experience in instrumentation and control related fields

Proven experience in designing and implementing instrumentation and control systems, preferably in the energy or automotive industry.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C , Python, or MATLAB for control algorithm development.

Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other hardware / software used in instrumentation and controls engineering.

Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as Simulink, LabVIEW, or equivalent.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to instrumentation and controls engineering (e.g., NEC, NFPA, ISA).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

A working knowledge of the Upstream Oil and Gas, and / or CCS industries and related equipment, materials, and technology

Willing to travel up to 15 - 30% of the time (primarily U.S. locations)

Education, certifications, and experience commensurate with an ICE / S level role. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.

Strong time management and digital technology skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Highly proficient verbal and written communication skill set.

Target Comp Range :

115,000 to $125,000 base salary bonus, depending on experience
