About the Job : Shearon Environmental Design Company, one of the leading landscape firms, is searching for an experienced and self-motivated mechanic. This position serves our regional office in Voorhees, NJ. The mechanic, under the supervision of executive leadership, performs maintenance and repairs, affects purchasing, as well as conducts routine inventory and facility management tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Upkeep of all equipment (gas and diesel, small and large), trucks, skid loaders, salt spreaders, and plows, trenchers, trailers, mowers
- Orders necessary routine preventative maintenance parts for the shop inventory, tools, etc.
- Actively participates in training all team members on safety and proper equipment usage
- Overseeing systems to collect and manage data relevant to the fleet management
- Overseeing of mechanics and fleet management systems
